H e l l o o o o !
My name is kylie wingert & I am 30 years young. I'm a mama to three beautiful children, two cats, one dog and I lost count of how many chickens I have in 2018. I am also a wife, Type 1 Diabetic and completely obsessed with being out on the Chesapeake Bay. My hair is almost always a mess & I embarrass myself on an hourly basis. I make friends most often with old people at the grocery store. I'm terrified of Lady Bugs & can't make a decision to save my life. Sea Salt is my favorite color & the smell of Lavender makes my soul sooooo happy. I diffuse all the oils!
I have been drawing & painting since I was 18 months old. Art has always been a huge part of what made me Kylie. I fell in love with digital photography after my high school took away our darkroom for film photography. Thanks to a very laid back art teacher, I learned Photoshop & editing at the age of 17. After turning down my acceptance to York College in PA, I stayed close to home for college & began my Graphic Design degree. Despite the fact that I FAILED my first photography course in college, I learned even more about Photography & Design over my time at Cecil College, and was given the tools I needed to further my Photography skills.
I began "Photography By Kylie" in April of 2011 and that very same semester I graduated college. Later on in the year I married my husband on October 8th. My husband has supported this wonderful experience from the very beginning, so it was an easy decision to keep him forever ;) On our second wedding anniversary, I went into labor & delivered our beautiful little boy the following afternoon on October 9th. Eight days before our son's second birthday, we welcomed our daughter on October 1st. I sometimes wonder if this is why I love Pumpkin Spice flavoring so much... everything big happens in October! Everything, of course, except for our expected third baby… who arrived on January 15th 2019. He was TEN AND A HALF POUNDS YALL.
In the spring of 2012 we purchased our current home, where we still happily remain! We live in a small ranch, that I assure you is nothing impressive, but we love it still. We have successfully run Photography By Kylie from the finished basement level of our home for the passed 7 years and love having so many wonderful people in and out of our doors.
I specialize in newborns within the studio, but during the warmer months you can catch me outside almost every day, chasing the perfect lighting for outdoor portrait sessions. This includes families, some maternity, small children & toddlers. We have recently introduced Boudoir Photography, and are still teetering on the edge of opening a 2nd portrait business for just weddings and boudoir.
My clients expect to invest significant time & money with Photography By Kylie because this experience ensures you & your children feel relaxed, fully satisfied with your final artwork and happy to have made beautiful memories with your family. We see an annual return of our clients and happy faces waving goodbye each time we depart. We have even had children with sensory disorders and autism return due to the low key, relaxed atmosphere. And because of you amazing clients, our children have everything they need in this life and their mommy gets to spend so much precious time with them. This is something priceless that I cherish... something I'll never be able to thank you all for. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading and thank you for being apart of our family!
